The reds have taken over

My son, his two friends and my husband went to watch Manchester United play Kaizer Chiefs yesterday. Man, (excuse the pun) were they excited? Man United is like a religion in our house. My son’s whole room is kitted out with their stuff and our bar looks like it belongs in Old Trafford.

They left home at 11 yesterday morning, with backpack filled with goodies and food, and only returned after 7 last night. One of the boys even had a vuvuzela – for those non-South Africans – it is a plastic trumpet/horn thing that makes a bloody noise second to none.

But they seemed to have had major fun. Of course they were elated that their red team won .. well they should have and did – local football pretty much sucks!

Viva the red devils!

I’d rather choke than say something good about ‘them’. Although I wouldn’t say no If Christianos offered me a night on the town!

They ought to support a decent team – like Newcastle Utd!
